It is used to control the spring brake chamber on the rear axle of the car to implement emergency brake and parking brake.

Working principle: when the brake pedal is depressed, the output air pressure of the brake valve is used as the control pressure input of the working principle of the relay valve. under the action of the control pressure, the air inlet valve is pushed open, thus compressed air enters the brake air chamber directly through the air inlet instead of flowing through the brake valve. this greatly shortens the inflation pipeline of the brake air chamber and accelerates the inflation process of the air chamber.  When the pedal is released, after the control pressure is removed, the diaphragm arches downward under the action of the spring, closing the intake valve and opening the exhaust valve, so that the compressed air in the brake chamber flows to the brake valve through the core tube and the hole, and is discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust port of the brake valve.
